The loss of skin elasticity associated with age related collagen production reduction, leads to the formation of wrinkles and lines in the skin. At Renaissance Med Spa, we offer both Botox® and Xeomin® treatments that target trouble areas quickly and effectively. Together with a proper skin care routine, these treatments reduce the need for surgery. Routine treatments not only reduce visible signs of aging, but may prevent future wrinkles from forming.

XEOMIN® contains botulinum toxin type A, a protein purified from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. XEOMIN® is injected into muscles and used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to severe wrinkles. When you squint or frown, the muscles between your eyebrows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines.

BOTOX® Cosmetic softens facial lines and wrinkles.

 

BOTOX® is injected into the muscle in these areas. The muscle weakens, which lessens the lines of facial expression. By combining BOTOX® Schaumburg, along with a recommended skin care regimen, a patient can look years younger without surgery.
