MonaLisa Touch® is a non-hormonal vaginal laser treatment appropriate for any female who is experiencing vaginal symptoms due to aging, lack of estrogen or breast cancer treatments. What Causes Vaginal Dryness?
Vaginal dryness is not a minor irritation. This can seriously impact daily health and intimacy. It can occur at any time to women of any age, but it most often occurs during menopause, when production of estrogen and progesterone slows — and eventually stops.
All women experience the eventual cessation of your menstrual cycle as a result of these hormonal changes, but other changes — including less lubrication and pain during sexual intercourse — also occur. Estrogen no longer prompts your body to produce as much of the lubrication that thinly lines the vaginal walls. Along with the reduction in moisture, your vagina also becomes thinner and less elastic, which further contributes to pain during intercourse. During sex the vagina is not able to create the moisture necessary for comfort and pleasure.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?
