SkinPen®
SkinPen by bellus, is a microneedling device that is clinically proven to improve the appearance of facial acne scars, fine lines, and laxity in the skin. It helps generate new collagen and skin tissue for smoother, firmer, more toned skin, while targeting and enlarged pores. It is the first ever device cleared by the FDA.
How does it work? During the treatment, the SkinPen creates small micro-injuries to the skin. This aids in the production of elastin and collagen. The patent SkinPen also creates micro-channels in the skin allowing your own growth factors to be reabsorbed into the skin. This self-repairing process makes the skin softer, thicker and younger looking.
The SkinPen procedure takes only about 30 minutes. The skin is numbed prior to the treatment for a more comfortable treatment. What is a chemical peel? A Chemical peel is a solution that is applied to the skin to improve the facial skin by exfoliating the damaged outer layers.
Our customized peel is an anti-aging treatment with minimal downtime. It targets rosacea, melasma, hyper pigmentation, acne and many more skin imperfections. People can immediately be turned off by the term chemical peel, but PCA gently penetrates the skin to effectively exfoliate the epidermis or outer skin. We have several different peels that are expertly chosen for your skin condition.

Sensi Peel is a solution that is formulated for sensitive and ethnic skin types. It will strengthen and brighten your skin while addressing sun damage and other forms of hyperpigmentation. This treatment can help calm down rosacea. This is a gentle 6% TCA peel contains Kojic Acid which helps discoloration too. 12% Lactic Acid brightens the skin and evens out the skin tone. .
Ultra peel is an amazing solution for dry dehydrated, maturing skin. This is a great peel for even the most sensitive skin type. Most patients feel a slight tingling sensation with the first application. Depending on the number of layers applied. This 10% TCA peel is for superficial and medium depth peeling. Azelaic and Kojic acids promote clear complexions and evened skin tons.
PCA Peel Hydroquinone Free is a Jessners formula more ideal for sensitive skin types, ethnic skin or those who are allergic to hydroquinone. This peel will unclog pores, clear acne and rejuvenate the skin. With its blend of brighteners, and alpha and beta hydroxy acids, it is great at correcting pigment discolorations.
PCA Peel with Hydroquinone. This is an enhanced Jessner formula for those who want an even skin tone and do not have sensitivity to Hydroquinone. This will quickly lighten pigment discolorations of any kind, such as melasma or acneic damage. With 14% Lactic, Salicylic and Citric acid this is the peel that will exfoliate and brighten the skin.
From sun damage to acne, fine lines to clogged pores, chemical peels work the best at dissolving the upper layers of the skin. Most patients leave the office glowing and with a tight sensation to the skin. Experience dramatic results, with minimal to no downtime. Patients should avoid sun exposure post peels. Peels are about 30 minutes long and can be done every 2-3 weeks.
MICRODERMABRASION
Known as the most minimally invasive treatment this nonabrasive exfoliation is for overall renewing of the skin tone and texture. Here at Renaissance, we use a diamond tip hand-piece to gently exfoliate dead skin cells. The diamond tip machine has become the gold standard in microderm because it is more comfortable than traditional microderm which used crystals blasted onto the skin. First, your skin is cleansed to remove all debris and oil. It is essential to remove extra oils on the skin to ensure a smooth aggressive exfoliation. The diamond tip handpiece is run in a specific pattern over the face, to buff away and suction the dead skin immediately leaving the skin rejuvenated. Next, serums are applied to the skin, which penetrate deeper due to the exfoliation.
Microdermabrasion is considered a safe procedure for almost all skin types. With little or no downtime, you can return to your daily activities or even return to work. Ideal for mature skin, sun damaged skin or dull looking skin. Only medical grade products are used during this treatment. A microdermabrasion lasts for about 30-45 minutes and can be done every 3-4 weeks.
Hollywood Treatment
This treatment provides a combination of Microdermabrasion, and PCA Peel. Together these treatments result in an intense facial rejuvenation experience. There is no down time with this peel and sometimes referred to the no peel peel. This peel is for all skin types but is especially loved by our injectable patients. It can be done prior to an injection to plump the skin preparing it for Botox, Xeomin or any filler.
